Cuando Javi e Iina me comentaron la posibilidad de fotografiar su boda, me llevé una gran alegría. Pero cuando me confirmaron que la misma se celebraría en Finlandia, en la tierra de Iina, el entusiasmo ya era máximo. De todos los países de Europa por conocer, Finlandia no habría estado entre los primeros a visitar. Error...
Preparamos con mucho cuidado y detalle todo lo necesario y nos embarcamos en esta aventura diferente a lo acostumbrado. Hay que reconocer que eligieron buen mes para el enlace, agosto, porque la temperatura es agradable y, lo más importante, la duración de la luz del sol es mayor.
Al llegar a Helsinki encontramos una ciudad moderna y ordenada, con ambiente, una agradable sorpresa. Pero desde allí teníamos que desplazarnos hasta la costa suroeste, a Turku. En el trayecto admiramos la belleza de este país y, al llegar a nuestro destino, disfrutamos de una ciudad con mucho encanto, muy recomendable para visitar.
Realizamos las fotografías de la preparación de ambos en diferentes localizaciones en el entorno de Turku. Desde allí nos desplazamos hacia Taidekappeli, el lugar del enlace. En las fotografías se puede observar lo admirable de su construcción. Posteriormente, nos desplazamos a la isla de Kakskerta, en concreto al lugar de celebración, Harjattula Golf & Country Club. Allí concluyó un día inolvidable para la vida de Iina y Javi y, por supuesto, para nosotros y el resto de invitados.
When Javi and Iina told me about the possibility of photographing their wedding, I was very happy. But when they confirmed that it would be held in Finland, in Iina's land, the enthusiasm was already higher. Of all the European countries to visit, Finland would not have been among the first to visit. A big mistake!
We prepare all necessary with great care and detail and we embark on this adventure different from what is usual. Admittedly, they chose a good month for the event, August, because the temperature is pleasant and, most importantly, duration of sunlight is longer.
Arriving in Helsinki we found a modern and orderly city, with atmosphere, a pleasant surprise. But from there we had to travel to the southwest coast, to Turku. On the way we admire the beauty of this country and, upon reaching our destination, we enjoy a charming city, highly recommended to visit.
We took the photographs of the preparation of both in different locations around Turku. From there we move to Taidekappeli, the place of the wedding event. In the photographs you can see how admirable its construction is. Later, we moved to the island of Kakskerta, specifically to the venue, Harjattula Golf & Country Club. There, an unforgettable day ended for the lives of Iina and Javi and, of course, for us and the rest of the guests.
